Composition by Icelandic composer Páll Ragnar Pálsson performed by the Skark Ensemble at the Gerðarsafn Art Museum in Kópavogur, Iceland, on 13 August 2015 as part of the Cycle Music and Art Festival Composer Páll Ragnar Pálsson built on Ólafur Elíasson’s mirror sculpture of the same title which consisted of three free standing round mirrors which formed a tunnel. Depending on from where the audience looked into the tunnel, their perception of themselves and their surroundings changed. Páll Ragnar Pálsson’s composition focused on the same theme as Ólafur’s sculpture, which was first created for Ólafur Elíasson's exhibition in Martin Gropius Bau in Berlin. During the performance the members of the Skark Ensemble were spread around the space, inviting the audience to move around and to explore how their visual and auditory perception changed as they moved among the instrumentalists in and around the mirror tunnel.
