Steinunn Gunnlaugsdóttir

Steinunn Gunnlaugsdottir is a visual artist born 1983 in Iceland and currently living and working both in Iceland and Germany. She wanders between various fields of visual art; sculpture, video, performance, sound and installations. At the core of her work is the humanimal’s existential struggle – and how it confronts and combats the structures that surround it - or surrenders to them.
