KÓPAVOGSTÚN

16 AUGUST
This is a pilot project beginning with an outdoor workshop in Kópavogstún. The collective will be working with Skark Ensemble on a performance within a space created to fit the music.
The collective project: For a denser concentration of the city (Felleskapsprosjektet å Fortette Byen) is a group of young architects based in Oslo and Tromsø, Norway. The group is an idealistic think-tank governed and established by the three architects, Joar Nango, Eystein Talleraas and Håvard Arnhoff. The group's intention is to be a independent and non-capitalistic platform for self-education and creative research in the field of architecture. The main starting point for all projects are through research on and interventions in a specific public context/site. The initiative can be seen as an ongoing investigation of the common citizen's freedom to expression, him or herselves, within the scandinavian model of ”right behaviour” and the law and order regulations executed by the nation-state. exposing the boundaries between private property control and the true nature of the common property rights. As methods they work with 1:1 spatial installations and self-built temporary architecture.
